A 13″x 8″ diorama of 20 soldiers of B Coy, 24th Foot defending a barricade from attacking Zulus. 4 Zulus are also included.
Provided on a 13″x 8″ scenic base, the diorama represents 20 soldier of B Company, 24th Foot defending the southern barricade against the attack of the Zulus.
The 20 British figures are defending a barricade made up of mealie bags and a tipped up General Service Wagon. The soldiers are shooting, loading and cursing for ammunition. A scared drummer boy is blowing his bugle. Colour Sergeant Bourne, Corporal Allen and other famous characters present at the action are furiously defending the barricade.
2 Zulus lie dead outside the barricade and 2 more are getting closer.
The Part 1 can be combined with Parts 2, 3 and 4 to provide the full diorama or just with Part 2 to provide more Zulus attacking the barricade
